The Outlander team have just finished filming ahead of their Christmas break. A tweet by assistant director, Patrick Conroy shows some of the crew enjoying themselves on the final day of pre-Christmas filming. But what have they been up to they past week or two?

Unsurprisingly, they have been busy. There was a report, on December 8, that the crew was parked up at the Buchanan Business Park in Glasgow, and had been there for over a week, but with an upsurge in activity that particular day. What could this mean? A couple of fans said that the crew were building sets inside a huge tent. Could this be in preparation of something big in the new year? We have a few thoughts about this. Whatever the plan, we expect that they’re preparing for something significant.
It turns out that, at the same time, some of the crew had also set up near Stirling Castle. This time they were definitely filming, with Sam seen on location.

Between set construction and filming, it seems that the cast and crew are getting a lot done. So, as much as droughtlander pains us, it seems that all efforts are being made to get season 4 on our screens in the coming year (September ??).
