Starz have announced the return of Outlander season 7. No specific date has been given, but the story of Claire and Jamie will return in November. While many are pleased with the news, not all fans are happy with having to wait another 8 months for their favourite show.

Diana Gabaldon, Sam Heughan and various media outlets, released news of the Starz’s plans. As expected, there is much excitement. At the same time, many fans, including Susie D on Twitter, are far from happy.
The second half of season 7 will return in November 2024.
What a colossal joke STARZ and the show runners of Outlander are. They are too busy filming a made up prequel to give a damn about the long suffering fans of the original series.

Outlander fans they are not unfamiliar with having to wait for their favourite show. From the start there have been droughtlanders, with season 1 having a seven month hiatus between part 1 and part 2. This became familiar between seasons, especially during COVID times. However, this may be a droughtlander too far. Season 7 part 1 ended in August 2023. With part 2 not returning until November 2024, that will be a 15 month wait. Far too long for some!
